Our mission and values

At Thomas Pocklington Trust, our mission is to provide quality housing care and support services which promote independence and choice, and to fund research into the prevention and alleviation of sight loss. Our work is guided by the charity's core values.

Our core values, which were developed with input from trustees, staff, volunteers and service users, are summarised briefly below:

Care standards
Our services meet National Minimum Care Standards and our staff work to quality assurance (QA) systems. We promote equality and diversity in all areas of the organisation, and are proud to have received many national employer accreditations, such as Investors in People and Positive about Disabled People.
