What is supported housing?

Supported housing is a combination of secure, self-contained accommodation and practical support from staff.

Support is available with all aspects of daily living in order to enable tenants to gain or maintain independent living skills and to lead full and active lives.

For many, supported housing offers an alternative to more sheltered forms of housing, and for others it's the first step on the road to independent living.

Supported housing at Pocklington Lodge

At Pocklington Lodge we offer low level support in a range of specially designed flats, catering mainly for people of working age. Support staff are available during normal office hours to provide assistance and promote independence. Each flat can be linked to a central emergency control if you choose to take advantage of the facility.

Support services at Pocklington Lodge are provided under contract to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Supporting People Team. Personal care is not provided at this Centre.

Our key aim is to enable people with sight loss to live full, active and independent lives, and we value the views and involvement of tenants at all times
