50 years of Thomas Pocklington Trust

The anniversary year will run from 01 April 2008 to 31 March 09 and a number of projects are being planned to celebrate and mark this anniversary.

These include:

• a publication, entitled "The story so far: a history of Thomas Pocklington Trust", which documents the first 50 years of the charity’s existence.
• Anniversary events at each Pocklington Centre / Service

To coincide with the anniversary, Pocklington has also launched an exciting new website.

Chief Executive, Ron Bramley said, "Our new website allows us to communicate with people with sight loss and other key audiences, giving them better access to information about our past successes, our present services and our plans for the future".
