Balham and Tooting Community Association Awards

Balham Resource Centre's Talking News team has won the Community Award from the Balham and Tooting Community Association.

Pocklington's Talking News and Magazine team at the Balham Resource Centre has won the Community Award from the Balham and Tooting Community Association (BATCA), where it was commended for outstanding service to the community in providing its local news service to people with sight loss.

BATCA was established in January 2006 with the aim of fostering closer relations between all sections of the local community by holding social and welfare functions, supporting the work of industrial stakeholders, dealing with community issues and working together to raise money for international humanitarian causes.
