PEOPLE with sight loss can have their say on the future direction of the UK Vision Strategy.

The UK Vision Strategy encourages health, public and third sector professionals to work together to deliver improved eye health, better treatment and support to people with sight loss, and a society which fully includes blind and partially sighted people.

The Shaping the Future of the UK Vision Strategy project is a six-month evaluation and consultation project to inform the future development and delivery of the UK Vision Strategy.

The project aims to ensure that the UK Vision Strategy delivers maximum positive impact for people with, and at risk of, sight loss across the UK.

As part of the project, NCVO Charities Evaluation Services (NCVO CES) is undertaking an evaluation and consultation project for the UK Vision Strategy including two surveys.

People with sight loss can complete a survey about their experiences of living with sight loss, and their opinions on what can be done to provide better support to people with sight loss, or at risk of sight loss, so that people can participate fully in society.

Eye health and sight loss professionals can also complete a survey about their experiences as a professional working in the sectors and what the key challenges and opportunities for the future are.

The surveys are open until Friday, October 21.

People with sight loss can make their voice heard by taking part in the survey here.
