Want to meet and spend time with other visually impaired students?

London Vision is setting up a new network in London for visually impaired students. The VI Student Network will hold events where members can network with their peers and meet new people.

But London Vision wants to make sure the group is based on what students want and need so they’re holding a focus group on Thursday 15th March to help shape the new VI Students Network.

London Vision Networks Manager Alex Pepper said: “We want the events to be focused on what’s important to students so we want to hear from students about their student life: their lectures, university staff, learning resources, halls, accessibility and London life. Please come along and have your say at the focus group.”

London Vision is an organisation which supports vision impaired people and those at risk of losing their sight who live, work or study in London.

There will be an introduction and focus group for the first hour, followed by a networking session with some free drinks and snacks, as well as some prizes.

The focus group is from 6-8pm on Thursday 15th March at The Court, 1st floor, 108a Tottenham Court Road, London, W1R 5AA. The nearest tube station is Warren Street (7 minute walk). Assistance to and from the station will be available upon request.
