About this volunteer role
| Location: | Pocklington Court, Roehampton |
| Accountable to: | Volunteer Co-ordinator |
| Function: | Driving service users to various destinations |
| Key Tasks: | Drive people to the local shops, pubs and places of interest as and when required on a weekly basis |
| Key Skills/ Experience/Attributes Required: |
- Full, clean driving licence
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Some voluntary driving experience desirable
- Be self-motivated and confident in working alone
- Ability to understand the issues faced by individuals living with sight loss
- Non-judgemental and able to treat people with respect
- Have an interest in supporting people in the community
- Have a good sense of humour
- Be honest and trustworthy

| Special Requirements |
- Must have business use in car insurance
- A willingness to work in an environment with guide dogs. References and a Criminal Records Bureau check will be required for all volunteer roles.
