I am currently studying a level 2 IT course at Queen Alexandra College (QAC) in Harborne, Birmingham which I will complete in July 2019. I have had sight loss from an early age but I try not to let it hold me back as I try to be as independent as possible.
In my spare time I am a member of a photography club. I enjoy photography, you can often find me with a camera around my neck! Outside of college I am interested in music and enjoy have undertaken some DJ work at private functions – including the Birmingham Vision Christmas pub night!
I have a 9 year old dog called Zara, however she is not a guide dog although at times she thinks she is!
I joined the Birmingham Sight Loss Council in October 2017 as I am interested in improving technology, transport and accessibility for visually impaired people locally. I am hoping to work with a variety of different organisations throughout the West Midlands to help make improvements for people living with sight loss.
