Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) is seeking a part time Communications Officer (3 days per week) to promote the work of its Sight Loss Councils. 

The Sight Loss Councils, funded by TPT and led by blind and partially sighted volunteers, advocate the needs, and campaign on behalf of, blind and partially sighted people in the area.  These are currently up and running in Birmingham, Black Country, Bristol and Merseyside. Over the next year TPT will be extending its SLCs across the country.

You will look after the planning, coordination and delivery of communications activity and content for the Sight Loss Councils, including marketing, website, social media, and traditional media output.

This role will sit within the Communications Team at the Pocklington Hub, based near Euston, and will contribute to our work in supporting blind and partially sighted people live the lives they want to lead.
