Virtual event on accessible tech for blind and partially sighted people
Blind and partially sighted people looking for advice on how to choose the right accessible tech products are invited to join a live webinar on Thursday 21 May (1-2pm).
Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) is hosting the virtual event which will cover various tech products for home and work life.
Darren Paskell, TPT’s Technology Champion, said: “Accessible technology enables blind and partially sighted people to thrive and, as we are all at home more than ever now, we find ourselves relying on tech much more. But with so many products out there, how do you know what is right for you?”
In the session attendees will be able to ask questions to TPT’s tech experts and get advice on products they are thinking of buying or trying.
Darren added: “I’m excited to hear from people about the barriers and challenges they face when trying to pick the most suitable tech products. With so much on the market, it can be overwhelming, and I hope this session will provide some clear guidance to help people make the right choices for them”.
Register for TPT’s free webinar on 21st May 2020 at 1pm via the website. You can include your question for the panel at registration to make sure this is covered or send it through during the event. www.pocklington-trust.org.uk/accessible-tech-at-home-and-work
