A practical guide to improving existing homes

May 2014

A guide from Thomas Pocklington Trust designed to help take account of a range of eye conditions in home design.

This publication provides good practice guidance on improving the homes of people with sight loss. It aims to support planned maintenance, replacements and refurbishment of the homes of people with sight loss and one-off adaptations in response to individual needs.

This guide will be useful to people supporting others to live independently in their own homes, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation workers as well as housing and support staff.
