Class of Covid-19: reflect and inspire

Covid-19 has impacted greatly on how we live, study and socialise – students have had a lot to deal with in their first term at university. That’s why Thomas Pocklington Trust’s Student Support Service and LOOK UK teamed up to host a free student Q&A and motivational talk with Lucy Edwards. The  webinar took place on 1 December 2020 via Zoom. If you missed it or want to check it out again, you can watch the recording below.

Listen to other students with vision impairment talk about their experiences of attending university during this difficult time; the challenges and some helpful tips and tricks to how they overcame them. There was also a Q&A session with a diverse panel dedicated to answering queries about the situations students have dealt with, decisions to be made, and support to access while at university. Finally, listen to our motivational speaker, journalist and YouTuber Lucy Edwards inspire you with coping strategies, self-care tips and heart-warming positivity, to keep calm and keep going!
