Coaching and Mentoring

Thomas Pocklington Trust, in partnership with Dialogue Training Academy, offers a professional mentoring and coaching service to blind and partially sighted individuals on our Works For Me programme.

Our mentors and coaches provide guidance, advice and personal support to help you identify and reach your career goals. They use proven techniques to assist you in finding your own solutions to challenges you may face in your career or everyday life.

Coaching can bring numerous benefits, including:

  • Emotional support
  • Improved relationships
  • Community engagement
  • Diverse perspectives
  • Effective communication
  • Clearer understanding of career plans.

Our mentors and coaches are flexible in their approach and provide a non-judgmental environment for you to freely express your thoughts and feelings. Their support can boost your confidence, motivation, and drive to succeed while providing a safe space to explore barriers, opportunities, and your life goals.

All our mentors and coaches are trained to level 5 and above in Mentoring and Coaching with the Institute of Leadership and Management and are members of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
