Youth Participation Co-ordinator
Part time fixed term contract (six months)
£21,500 to £31,500 FTE depending on experience

Thomas Pocklington Trust is a national charity dedicated to delivering positive change for blind and partially sighted people.
We are looking for a part time fixed term, Youth Participation Co-Ordinator to manage the Young Voices Youth Participation Group, ensuring active participation of young people from the vision impairment community. This will involve evening and weekend work with Children and Young People according to their needs.
You will need to have experience of working with young people, (a youth work qualification is desirable). You will need to have knowledge of and understand the needs of needs of blind and partially sighted young people.
An excellent communicator, organiser and planner is needed, as you will be facilitating events, using monitoring and evaluation systems and contributing the Engagement Teams work at a national level.

The interview process
The interview process will include an initial screening process, a first online interview for those candidates who are shortlisted, and we are hoping to be able to do a face to face second interview for those taken forward. This will of course follow all necessary rules of social distancing in place at the time of interview. If this is not possible, this interview will also be done online.
