Get involved
Volunteering not only benefits the organisation or sector where an individual is volunteering through shared skills, ideas and lived experiences, but it can also have a profound impact on the volunteer themselves.
This includes increased confidence, learning new skills, making new friends and opening up opportunities.
Sight Loss Councils
We have a number of volunteering roles available for blind and partially sighted people as part of our Sight Loss Councils (SLCs). We have SLCs in Birmingham, the Black Country, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Bristol and Gloucestershire, with plans to expand these into new areas over the coming months and years. Find out more.
